Black Bear & Cherrie Tree
So funny, I go to the Adirondacks canoe camping, for six days, I saw a mouse ,an eagle ,lots of loons. very cool. The very morning after I get home, this black bear that we have seen a lot, is in our front yard gorging on cherries ! Love it !

Estwing Hammer Time !
Просмотров 290Месяц назад
Just a good shout out to Estwing hammers ! I purchased this particular hammer back in 1978, my junior year in a vocational high school, or trade school. I certainly don't use this hammer every day anymore, but I did use it for pretty much 45 years ! I've lost it, and found it. It's never let me down. At the end of the day, this is an outstanding tool ! Estwing Hammer www.estwing.com

For at least the past eight years or so, I have taken at least a week or more in the month of June and gone canoe camping. Most, if not all of those trips where in the great state of Maine. I have been meaning to get back to the Adirondacks of New York. I have canoe camped in the Adirondacks many times, there is a lot of area in the park, this year I decided to go back. I spent five nights and ...

White Mountains Hike & Hammock Camp , With Views !
Nice River , what’s the name ?
My road kill steaks look nothing like that!!!
I bet ! Probably not full of hormones and crap also ! LOL 😂
@@MeetMeOutside give those hormones and grain fed any day🤣🤣🤣🤣
Thanks for giving this thing a review. Looked great, but it’s always nice to hear from someone who owns one. Being oversized, having the collapsible handle, and the screw on lid are things that made it stand out as attractive. Seems like the perfect outdoor bowl that can securely store food (or my Infinity mug, thank you for that tip - that is a nice bonus). Now if I could just manage to find a shop in my area that actually carries it. Even REI didn’t come through. They don’t stock the Fair Share II anymore (nor do they have GSI’s long acetyl plastic spoon - just $20 Ti sporks n crap like that).
Maybe look online ? Thanks for stopping by man, I still use the fairshare mug all the time !
Nice! Looking good.
That's awesome Craig where is that from
@@earlhayes2969 It’s on the campus I work at . UMass
@MeetMeOutside cool you have to get them to build a Lakota Sweat Lodge LOL👍✌️
Where is this from?
FROM A NATIVE OF PR THANK YOU !

Definitely a happy Friday with steaks like that! Cheers buddy!
@@AlansOutdoorAdventures Hopefully you have a great weekend !
That’s my backyard! I live in Adams(where Mt Greylock is located) and have been hiking and doing over night camping on the mountain since I were a kid. It’s my favorite place to be. Great video ! Maybe see you on the mountain some time.
@@DPK99ATown Sure thing ! I usually try and get over there for at least a one night hike and camp per year. Cheers !
That's Crazy Craig same here in Connecticut there is definitely more Residential activity any trips planned in the future thanks for sharing Earl 👍
Great to relax
Just seeing this now. Will check it out and add what I can
Just subscribed.... because I realized yesterday I hadn't seen one of your videos in ages (when your channel was called "Cragdwella"). Watching the bear with your cherries as I am having mine (from Market Basket, not your yard😂).
Thank you ! Much appreciated ! Welcome back,Peace
Is that a Solo Stove I see? I love mine!
This was my Trangia alcohol stove. I do have a Bushbuddy twig stove, very cool.
My Solo can use alcohol or twigs.. Seeing the Whites are the watershed of most of New England, we make sure we have the alcohol!
Yep! Love my Bush Buddy!
@@jmsbohannon Great little stove !
That was awesome brother! Thanks for sharing this one man! P.S. Better at home than rummaging through your food at camp, eh 😉 lol
@@IntenseAngler Absolutely ! Peace ✌️
@@MeetMeOutside Peace my brother ✌
So cool. Looks very healthy.
@@CanoeCampClimb Yes , healthy for sure !
Looks like a fun trip.
@@brockg6194 Thank you 🙏 It was fantastic !
Looks like a nice day. Lots of birds. The heron shot was great.
Thanks Butch ! Any time in the canoe is good enough for me ! Have a great week my friend.
I hear you. I've had my Estwing since my college days in Pittsburgh... when I worked for my uncle's construction company. No I am using it to rehab our barn. Great hammers.
Yes ! Great hammers ! Hope you’re project is going well !
Definitely the Best Hammer on the market Cool piece of history Craig
Thanks Earl !
Have had mine since I was a apprentice, first thing I bought when I was 18 I'm nearly 33 now, couldn't care about any of my other tools but that hammer
@@AD-nl1hx I get it ! It’s a part of you !
I can't use anything different
@@AD-nl1hx Right ! 👍
Very cool, Thanks for sharing…👍🏻
As long as you see them.before they see you ! Lol
@@thepeacerunners There just looking for easy food !
@@MeetMeOutside awesome looking bear!
I have that exact hammer. My first hammer bought in 1990. Used the crap out of it!
Great tools !
Eswing is the pride of Rockford Illinois. I used the same hammer for demolition. We remodeled apartments. I like a 16 oz. straight claw Plumb wood handle for trim nails. But nail guns rule the day anymore. Cheers!
Those are the best hammers, I had a waffle head, turned my thumb into hamburger a couple of times.
Not fun !
Hammer time !
sets an electrial staple in two taps. i have the estwing ax too and its great.
That’s great !
He was enjoying himself 😁😁
Eating well !
Ever hit your thumb with that hammer 😁😁. I’m a Framer so I’ve hit my thumb many many times. Lol
Yes ! It definitely feels below average !😂😂
Especially with the waffle head. Ouch
Hahaha! Lol, that's funny!!!🤣
I have a bucket of estwing hammers! 16oz, 20oz. 220z(actually donated that one to Regional Stairs East Hartford CT!) 28oz waffle face and a coupe old 20ozers with stacked leather handles! A lot of people always said that solid metal hammer and shaft were bad for your arm. I did get "tennis" or "hammer" elbow a couple times , very painful had to work through it. But the Estwings are so reliable, and can take beating and punishment ! plus they're affordable ! I also have a 3lb Estwing mallet! that's my sweetheart ! never got the hatchet, but I've always eyed them. I do have a couple estwing casework mallets with rubber heads. I could use a dead blow also! I have their flatbar also.
Hammer time !
I definitely feel blessed to have all my dads tools for sure……. Especially when it’s almost impossible to find hardened steel these days 🔨
That’s awesome.
Very healthy bear, beautiful!
Yes , eating well !
Cool. I see them often in the Pisgha National Forest where I volunteer for the Forest Service.
Nice, there are a lot around here also !
That’s awesome Dennis…👍🏻
Can’t beat a good tool. Consider it a piece of gear. I have a few tools like that. Many were my Dad’s and Grandfather’s. I understand completely the attachment.
Well said !
Very cool!
👍👍
They are the best hammers you can buy. I have a couple that were my grandfather's, still use them from time to time. Cheers buddy, hope you have a great 4th of July!
Totally agree ! Just a solid tool man. Hope you and the new pup had a good trip ! Let’s get together in the fall for an adventure in the Adirondacks !
Definitely a great hammer by all means….🔨especially with what they make today……. Wishing you and your family a Happy and Safe 4th of July 🇺🇸 Stay Strong 💪🏻 my friend…👍🏻
@@MeetMeOutside definitely up for a fall trip! Maybe sometime in September if that works for you
September is already somewhat jammed for me, my wife and I are going on vacation, early October to mid October is when I will have time. I will message you on the book of faces !
Definitely looked like a great day out on the water man! Rippin' some lips... doesn't get much better 🎣 It was cool to see you using that clamp by the way. I use something very similar when I'm runnin' and gunnin' for catfish on the river. Anyhow, Happy 4th of July to you and yours my brother! Peace.... ✌
Thanks my friend ! Always great to hear from you, Happy 4 th !
@@MeetMeOutside Always a pleasure buddy! Thanks!
Love it over there in the Adirondacks. It's only about 3hrs for me. Look into the Oswegatchie river. I did that traverse a few years ago, very remote and beautiful campsite as well. If you're interested, the trip is on my channel. Great video my friend. Have fun out there!
For sure ! I enjoyed your video of the Oswegatchie , good times ! Hope you’re dad is doing well, are we going to do a trip ,or what ?😂😂 lets go to the Adirondacks in the fall, I’m definitely going back in I think October ! Have a great week !
Love it ! Just did that same area for 6 days...base camped though at fish creek and did a bunch of loops to scout the area for return trips. Absolutely was blown away by it. Will be back hopefully soon...damn work gets in the way! ..great job Bud !
Nice ! I paddled by the fish Creek campground on the loop. I really enjoyed Polliwog Pond and Horseshoe Pond, gonna go back in October for sure !
@MeetMeOutside I did those too..were great. Did upper Saranac the top part...didn't film that...too big open water...had to pay attention there in open canoe with big crossings...it was a relitively calm day...but my favorite I think was Follensby Clear Pond and Floodwood...actually...I loved it all !!
@@thepeacerunners Could not agree more ! Fabulous area !
I've owned a canoe for the past 43 years. I can go places many boats can't and have plenty of room for supplies on multi day adventures.
Yes sir ! Couldn’t agree more ! Thanks for stopping by man !
What a great video. I want to do that same loop at some point. Its a popular loop up there and I can tell you made the absolute most of it. Thanks for sharing the video. I met butch up there in that area as well. Specifically where you slept on night 2. Saw him camping on that little point. Definitely worth picking his brain on the area!
Cool, yes it’s a fun loop, I want to get back up there in maybe October, no bugs, not as many people… cheers !
